Why I Teach:

To help others find connection.  Connection to self.  Connection to spirit.  Connection to creativity and expression.  Connection to love...to grief...to the full spectrum of feeling.  Connection to the heart.  I teach so that others may be more open, in a world that often forces us to close.

To be able to move our bodies is a gift.  To be able to breathe is a gift.  Each day and each passing moment is truly all we have.  My own brightness is the product of the darkness I have experienced in my life.  I grew up learning many healing tools and practices, while also experiencing deep trauma.  I think that is why I'm so passionate about holding space for others to feel safe, welcome, and loved.  

In our struggles, we can find our deepest treasures.  Yoga has a way of connecting us to the light, and our own resilience.  It gives us a space to listen, and to heal.  This opportunity for deep listening is what has helped me follow my own intuition and creativity, and has helped me to learn to channel through voice and sound.  I hope to continue to share in all the ways I can, in hopes to help others find their own ways of healing and creating in this world.  I'm really happy to play my part in all of it.
